Pillar 02 ELT Leaf Trade

Zimbabwean leaf, traded to the world.

Since 2019 our Leaf Trade division has bought at the auction floors, graded and processed in country, and shipped Zimbabwean tobacco to buyers across Europe, Asia and Africa. The leaf we finance is also the leaf we understand, bale by bale.

The division

We buy what we know.

Most merchants meet the leaf on the floor. We meet it in the seed bed. Because the group finances the crop, walks the season and runs its own auction floor, our buyers grade with a grower's knowledge of how each bale was raised and cured.

Zimbabwe's crop set a national record of 355 million kilograms in 2025, and the country remains Africa's largest producer. Our job is to move that quality to the markets that pay for it, and to add as much of the value as possible before it leaves home.
