Every STAR carries the same gold star, whatever the blend. Deep red for Toasted, true blue for Virginia, cool green for Menthol.

STAR Menthol
The same Zimbabwean leaf, finished cool and clean. Blended for the region's most asked-for menthol taste.
S/03
STAR Virginia
Bright, golden and true to the leaf. A straight Virginia blend from the auction floors we know bale by bale.
STAR is marketed to adult smokers only. Not for sale to persons under the age of 18.
Provenance
One leaf, traced the whole way.
Most cigarettes cannot tell you where the leaf came from. STAR can. The tobacco is grown by ELT-contracted smallholders, sold across our own auction floor, graded by our own leaf team, and rolled by Stellar Tobacco Company. Seed to smoke, one unbroken line.
Production runs under a toll manufacturing arrangement at a capacity of 8 million sticks a month, with premises and equipment established for local manufacture as the brand grows.
Why it matters
Value added at home.
Zimbabwe grows a record crop, then ships most of it away raw: barely a tenth of the leaf is value-added in country. Every STAR rolled here keeps jobs, skills and margin in Zimbabwe, in step with the Government's Tobacco Value Transformation Plan.
